LEANNE | GRAPHIC DESIGNER | Leanne is the face of the company and the creative force behind the business
Qualified to degree level, originally a ‘Cas lass’ I made Sheffield my home after moving here to study Graphic Design back in 2002. It’s here where, Martin and I met in the student halls and the rest they say is history.
Previous to this, I enjoyed working as a graphic designer for 15 years at a Barnsley-based design agency. I already had an obsession for design, print and all things paper. It was here where I discovered my love for all things wedding too. I was lucky enough to be lead designer for I Do Magazine (a Yorkshire-based wedding events company) looking after all their design requirements including a wedding magazine and wedding exhibition promo.
And so, our business was born out of a successful side-hustle, (known as Keetley Creative) things developed and grew pretty quickly from there! I now love using my skills and industry knowledge on a daily basis to deliver a wide variety of individual designs and styles for our couples.
MARTIN | MANAGER | Martin takes a backseat in the business, but is always on-hand
Originally from Nottingham, Martin came to Sheffield to study photography after studying art history and photography at college in Norwich.
Now as a full time manager at a corporate business, Martin’s skillset includes keeping things organised and running smoothly as well as being on hand to offer support and solve problems.
You’ll find him taking care of business in the background, studying excel spreadsheets and looking after accounts. That said, he’s not afraid to get his hands dirty and assists in all aspects, from picking up enquiries and making deliveries, to running the printer and guillotine. When it’s all hands on deck he’ll even join in with design, finishing and packing your lovely orders.
IT’S NOT ALL WORK | Together we have two primary school-age boys, so it’s teamwork both at home and in the studio.
As it’s a family affair, you may even see the gang together around the Kelham Island area or out and about, setting up at business events.
Out of work we enjoy indie music (you’ll find me at the front at Tramlines), walking and camping in the countryside, checking out local attractions and enjoying a few beers and pub grub (that’s J2O’s for the mini Sheaf’s).
We’re a relaxed, friendly couple and business and love getting to know all our couples, so if you’re looking to design something individual or you’re just not sure where to begin, then give us a shout.
